I care less about how people move....I care a lot about what makes them move. Art is a vehicle for social criticism. It should never become a means of embellishing real life..

I'm narrating stories about loneliness, I'm shedding light on the depth of emotions...I'm commenting on the alienation and emptiness of modern existence....I'm outlining everyday characters carrying a microcosm of fears, hopes, vanities, desires or memories..permanent inhabitants of our inner selves....

I want the spectator to be concerned, to be annoyed, to be infuriated in order to admire and thank the grandeur of human expression and existence via ballet dancing....''
